Pat Cummins, the captain of Australia’s ODI and Test team, has signed a 4-year contract with the San Francisco Unicorns in the USA’s Major League Cricket (MLC). Cummins has played only in the IPL and has not even featured in Australia’s Big Bash League since 2018-19 due to some commitments.
MLC will be played from the 6th to 29th of July this year. Cummins has expressed his excitement to play in the MLC league.
Pat Cummins recently captained Sunrisers Hyderabad to the finals. The hard-hitting Australian batter Jake Fraser-McGurk will also join Pat in the San Francisco Unicorns in the MLC this year.
Not just Cummins, but the MLC will see a big boom this year since various other international cricketers will be seen playing in MLC. For instance, Bangladesh’s Shakib Al Hasan, Nea Zealand’s Daryl Mitchell, South Africa’s David Miller, and various other players will appear in the tournament.
